Bliss Balls…never heard of them? These are little pralines mostly  only made of dates. You can find a ton of different variations of them out there already. With peanut butter, almond butter, dried figs, goji berries, nuts, you name it. They’re filled with carbohydrates in form of easy sugars, means they’re fast and easily digested. Bliss Balls are little energy booster, good before sports.

Recipe – Plum-Figs-Raisins  Bliss Balls (yields approx. 70 Blissballs)

What you’ll need
1/2 cup dried plums
1 cup raisins
6 dried figs
1/4 cup nut butter (I used peanut butter)
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 cups shredded coconut

What you wanna do
– Soak the dried fruits for 1/2-1 hour and drain
– In a blender mix soaked fruits, nut butter, cinnamon until a crumby texture is achieved
– Place the shredded coconut in a bowl – this is where you are going to roll the mixture in
– With your hands roll mixture into little balls and roll in the bowl with the shredded coconut to cover the balls to prevents from sticking
– Place your bliss balls in an airtight container, they will last you for up to two weeks – but I don’t think you can keep your hands from them ;-)
