Hanfmilch hat viele Vorteile und nein sie macht nicht high ;-) Denn die Hanfsamen bekommt man ganz legal im Bioladen.

Warum ist die Milch gut?

Die Milch aus den Samen steckt voller Eiweiß und Aminosäuren wie den Omega-3 und Omega-6 Fettsäuren, wichtig zur Stärkung der geistigen Leistungsfähigkeit. Außerdem ist sie voll mit Vitamin A, E, D, B-12 und Folsäure sowie Magnesium, Kalium und Eisen. Alles wichtige Bestandteile einer gesunden Ernährung und zur Stärkung des Immunsystems. Außerdem für klare und gesunde Haut, Nägel und Haare und vieles mehr.

Zu allem Überfluss kann man sie wahnsinnig schnell selbst herstellen.

Wofür kann man sie verwenden?

Die Milch kann man – wie Kuhmilch – für alles mögliche verwenden: im Müsli, in Smoothies, in Soßen, zum Backen, pur einfach so zum trinken oder (mein Favorit) im Kaffee.

Hemp seed milk has tons of benefits and no it doesn’t make you high ;-) As you get it legally in every good health food store.

Why is this milk good?

It’s rich in protein and contains omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, good for an increased mental capacity. Moreover Vitamins such as A, E, D, B-12 and folic acid, and it’s rich in magnesium, potassium and iron. All essential nutrients for a healthy diet and immune system. Other than that it’s good for clear and healthy skin, nails, hair and so much more.

On top of all that, it’s super fast and easy to make.

How can you use it

You can use the milk, just like you would use cows milk: in muesli, smoothies, sauces, for baking, pure to drink and (my fav) in coffee.

Hemp Seed Milk

300 ml Milk

What you’ll need 

  • 600 ml water
  • 1/4 cup hemp seeds
  • 2-3 dates or any other sweetner you like

What you wanna do

  1. Soak the hemp seeds in 300 ml of the water for 30 minutes
  2. Strain on the water from the soaking process.
  3. In a blender blend the other 300 ml of water with the soaked seeds for 2-4 minutes on high speed.
  4. Through a fine strainer, milk bag or cotton kitchen towl strain the milk.
  5. Pour the strained milk back into the blender and mix with the dates (or sweetner of your choice) on high speed.
  6. Pour the milk into a glass bottle and keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
