Raw Vanilla Tahini Pralinés

Ich bereite mir meine süßen Snacks immer schon am Wochenende vor. Damit ich nicht Gefahr laufe nichts zu haben, wenn ich Appetit auf was Süßes habe. Anmerkung: Jeden Nachmittag ;-)
Dieses mal dachte ich etwas weniger schokoladiges tut es auch und habe anstelle von Erdnussbutter mal mit Tahini (Sesammus) gearbeitet. Wirklich eine gute Alternative – wenn ihr nicht gerade ranzigen Tahini nehmt, wie ich.

I love to prepare my sweet snack for the week on the weekends. That keeps me from getting cranky when my appetite kicks in. Note: Every single afternoon ;-)
This time I thought something less chocolaty does the job as well. And instead of using peanut butter I worked with tahini (seasame paste). A really good alternative – if you don’t use rancid tahini as I did.

Recipe

What you’ll need

  • 1 cup amonds
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1/2 cup Tahini
  • 1 vanilla bean

What you wanna do
1. In a blender, blend all the ingredients really well until you reach a crumbly texture.
2. With a teaspoon scoop the mixture into a silikon praliné form and with your fingers push the crumbles really tight in the form.
3. Chill the Pralinés in the fridge for a couple of hours so they can set.

Tip 1: Served best with some slivered raw cacao nibs on top.
Tip 2: Instead of the pralinés you can also make “cookies”, just add the cacao nibs to the blender as well and then shape ’em into cookie forms.
