About a year ago I sewed two capes out of plaid fabric remnants. I made the plaid fabric into the back part and my usual black fleece became the front part of the cape. I put one cape for sale in my Etsy store the other one, I wanted to keep for myselfe. Really quickly I got two requests from people who wanted to buy them, so I sold both. Since I wanted one for me too, I searched for the perfect fabric for quiet some time – I wanted the fabric to be vegan, but you can almost only get it with wool – and now I finally found one that I really like (only took me a year ;)

One is red, green and black checkered the other one (my fav) is gray and black. Just as a sample I made two capes of both kinds of material. And as the last time, I used the plaid for the back and the fleece for the front. I have to say they turned out great again. When we did the shooting for these I was impressed with how well they fit (pets herself on the shoulder).

You can find the capes in my Etsy and in my Dawanda store. And I’m really curious how you like them. And if you do like them, I will make more…promised ;)
