Hier erstmal die harten Fakten:
- Alter: 3 Monate
- Länge: 70 cm
- Gewicht: 7,7 kg
Here the hard facts at first:
- Age: 3 Month
- Length: 70 cm/27,5 in
- Weight: 7,7 kg/17 lbs
Theo has developed so much these past three months. Where should I begin … Maybe at one thing he did last week – he turns onto his belly now! Last Wednesday he laid in his bed and I shortly left the room, when I came back he was laying on his belly. The next day, he just did it a couple times and since then, he’s doing it non stop. I’m so excited about this, but on the other hand it makes me so sad – he should not do this quite yet… he is supposed to stay my little baby, at least for a few more months ;)
When you see his length and weight, you know he’s fed very well ;) His cousin, who will be one in two weeks and with that is 9 month older than him, weighs only 400 g/14 oz more and is 5 cm/2 in longer. It really looks funny, when these two lay next to each other. I have to add though that he is fully breast fed, I don’t give him additional formula and I still eat vegan.
Most of the day he is really relaxed and loves to fall asleep in the wrap. In general, he likes it when I calm him in the wrap whenever he gets fussy. That’s totally fine with me, this way I can take him anywhere whithout being afraid that he’s going to cry and won’t stop :)
Also, last week was the first time he laughed with his voice. So not just his cute smile, but an actual baby laugh. We almost cried laughing. The more funny faces we make and the more silly we talk to him, the more he loves it – of course.
Throughout the day he takes 1-2 naps anywhere between 1-3 hours. He can’t go longer without food yet (just like his mommy ;D). At night he sleeps in our bed, and he will than even sleep for five hours. Overall the co-sleeping – he sleeping in our bed – is very pleasant for me. I don’t have to get up all the time during the night, I just have to pull him close to me, whenever he gets hungry. I don’t really have any sleep deprivations and feel as fit in the morning as before he was born. Amazing – hope this doesn’t change ;)
Of course I don’t get nearly as much done as I’d like, but that’s the good thing about a baby – you take more time to just enjoy the moment. And whenever he is sleeping, I’m happy to use my time effectively.
