Ich habe es natürlich nicht geschafft sein 5-Monats-Update hochzuladen. Es war schon komplett fertig geschrieben, aber irgendwie bin ich nicht dazu gekommen Fotos hinzuzufügen. Aber egal … genau heute vor 1/2 Jahr kam unser Theo auf die Welt.

Das Wichtigste zu Beginn, seid vergangenem Freitag hat unser Theodor seinen ersten Zahn. Das hat sich schon in den vergangenen vier Wochen angebahnt. Er hat immer mal aus dem Nichts heraus geweint, es gab Tage an denen er stark gesabbert hat und die drei Nächte bevor der Zahn durch “gebrochen” ist wahren sehr unruhig. Er war ständig munter und hat sich hin und her gewälzt. Das arme Bebe. Das war noch das 5 Monats-Update…

Theo ist zweifach bezahnt ;P und aufgepasst … Er krabbelt richtig gut seid Donnerstag vor einer Woche. Jetzt ist natürlich Vorsicht angesagt. Wir haben schon das komplette Wohnzimmer umgeräumt, damit er mehr Freiraum hat, solche Dinge wie W-Lan-Router etc. müssen wir aber noch “verstecken”. Durch ihr Blinken sind sie wahnsinnig interessant ;)

Er hatte seinen ersten Schnupfen, war mit uns das erste mal für ein paar Tage im Urlaub, er geht jetzt auf alle viere (auf die Knie) und manchmal sogar in den Bärenstand (also auf die Zehen) und setzt sich seitlich. So eine richtige Routine mit genauer Uhrzeit haben wir nicht. Ich würde ihn da auch nicht zwingen. Er schläft wenn er will, meist 1-2 Mal am Vormittag und 1 Mal am Nachmittag. Gegen 18/19 Uhr wird er allerdings quengelig und dann geht’s auch ins Bett :)

Wenn wir tagsüber nicht gerade unterwegs sind – er im Tuch, den Kinderwagen haben wir seid 4 Wochen nicht herausgeholt wir haben jetzt den Buggyaufsatz herausgeholt – spielt er in der Stube auf dem Boden oder in seinem Bettchen in unserem Büro. Nach wie vor genieße ich es, das er sehr relaxed ist. Er lächelt andere Menschen an, lässt sich Stunden von mir im Tuch herum tragen und ist einfach eine sehr angenehme, kleine Person mit der man sehr gern Zeit verbringt!

Achja, auf unseren Spaziergängen habe ich in letzter Zeit Äpfel gepflückt und da er mir beim tragen im Tuch sehr nah ist, schaut er sich alles ganz genau an was ich tue. Er greift nach allem was in seine Nähe kommt und so auch die Äpfel die ich dann auf unseren Spaziergängen esse. Ich hätte es nie geglaubt, aber er leckt daran und will immer mehr. Das ihm diese sauren Äpfel schmecken hätte ich nie geglaubt. Letztens griff er nach einer Banane die ich aß, da musste ich ihm dann einfach mal ein Stück klein matschen ;) Er hat tatsächlich einen halben Löffel gegessen. (Mittlerweile gibt’s ab und zu mal ein 1/3 zerdrückte Banane oder Fruchtmilch (Kokoswasser+Karottensaft+Mandelbutter)  sogar Smoothies, gebackenen Kürbis, Gurken und Avocados hat er schon probiert). Nicht viel aber immerhin. Er ist ja auch gerade mal 5 6 Monate alt. Mit dem Essen möchte ich ihn auch noch nicht zwingen, ich bin mir sicher das es alles nahtlos ineinander übergehen wird. Vom Stillen zu fester Nahrung.

Of course I did not manage to get his 5 months update up in time. But oh well … exactly 1/2 year ago our little Theo was born.

So, the most important thing at first, since last Friday our Theodor has his first tooth. We saw this coming for the past four weeks. He sometimes cried suddenly out of no reason, there where days when he drooled a lot and the three nights, before the tooth was visible, where really restless. He woke up super often and rolled through the bed. Poor Bebe. This was the 5 months update…

He’s got two teeth now ;) und wait for it … He crawls very well since Thursday one week ago. We have to be very cautious now that’s why we’ve already rearranged our entire livingroom, so he has more space now. But we still have to hide things like the wifi router, because that damn thing blinks very “interestingly” ;)

He had his first stuffy nose, he has been with us on his first few days of holidays, he stands on all fours (knees) now and sometimes even on his toes, and he sits himself up on one side. We don’t have such a thing as a scheduled routine with certain times. I wouldn’t force anything on him. He sleeps whenever he wants, that’s about 1-2 times in the morning and one time in the afternoon. Around 6/9 pm he gets a little whiney, that’s when we know it’s time for bed :)

If we’re not on the go – he’ll be in the wrap on me, we havn’t used his stroller in 4 weeks we’ve now got the buggy attachment- during the day, he’ll play in our living room or in his bed in our office. He’s still very relaxed and I appreciate that a lot. He smiles at other people, he lets me carry him around in the wrap for hours and he’s just a very pleasent little person to be around!

Oh and on our last walks, I picked apples and since I carry him near me he keeps a close eye on everything I do. I tries to grab everything that gets near him, also these apples, which I’ll eat on our walks. I never would’ve thought it, but he licks these apples and keeps wanting more. That he likes these sour apples I would’ve never imagined. The other day he grabed a banana that I ate and I just had to mash up a piece for him ;) He really ate half a spoon. (By now we give him 1/3 of a mashed banana or some fruit mylk (coconut water + carrot juice + almond butter) he even tried smoothies, baked pumpkin, cucumber and avocados now) Not much but oh well. He’s just 5 month old. I don’t want to force any food on him yet, I’m sure that the breastfeeding and solids will merge at one point.

Oh mein Gott, ich bin so schlecht mit meinen Blogposts in letzter Zeit, aber unser Bebe möchte gerade meine volle Aufmerksamkeit. Also mache ich Blogzeug nur wenn er schläft, weil ich nicht zurück blicken und irgendetwas bereuen möchte.

Zunächst habe ich sie nur für unser Bebe gemacht und manchmal auch als Geschenk für Freunde und ich dachte euch würden sie auch gefallen. Ich wollte etwas für unser Bebe das nicht so bunt ist wie all die Tücher die man so in den Läden findet. Ich wollte etwas cooles, minimalistisches und stylisches, weil (und das werden sicher alle Mama’s wissen) man nimmt diese Tücher ja ÜBERALL mit hin. Zumindest mache ich das (und außerdem liegt eins in jedem Raum unserer kleinen Wohnung) :D Ich nutze sie als Spucktuch, Sichtschutz beim Stillen, leichte Sommerdecke oder Sonnenschutz am Kinderwagen. Und da gibt es noch gefühlte tausend andere Verwendungen.

Per Hand bedrucke ich die 100% Baumwoll-Mulltücher, mit Kreuz-, Blatt oder Blitz-Mustern. Alle in Schwarz-Weiß.

Ich hoffe sie gefallen euch genauso gut wie mir :) Und vielleicht habe ich ja bald mal eine richtige Routine um regelmäßig Blogposts und neue Rezepte zu veröffentlichen.

Oh my goodness I’m so bad with my blogposts lately, but our Bebe want’s all my attention at the moment. So I’m only doing blogstuff when he’s asleep, because I never want to look back and regret anything.

These muslin clothes are new in my shop LeBoer. You can find them on Etsy and on Dawanda.

I initially made these for our Bebe and occasionally as presents for friends and I thought you might enjoy them as well. I wanted something for our Bebe, that wasn’t all that colorful like you find in the shops. I wanted something cool, minimalistic and stylish, because (as all mommies know) you ALWAYS carry those burp clothes around with you. At least I do (and I also have one in every room of our little apartment) :D Either as a burp cloth, a cover-up while breastfeeding, light summer blanket or sun protection on the stroller. And there are tones of other uses. 

I handprint them on 100% cotton. Right now the patterns I offer are crosses, leaves and lightning bolts all in black and white.

I hope you love them just as much as I do :) And maybe someday soon I’ll have a regular routine to post new blogposts and recipes .

Unser kleiner Dicker wächst und wächst :) Zum Vormonat hat er genau ein Kilo zugenommen. Jetzt gerade in diesem Moment macht er seinen Vormittagsschlaf, den er täglich macht. Seid diesem Monat ist er an seinem Spielzeug interessiert. Er hat da so einen schönen Ball zum greifen und natürlich seine Giraffe Gilbert (besser bekannt als Sophie la giraffe). Gilbert kommt jetzt gerade recht, denn wir glauben, dass er Zähnchen bekommt. Er sabbert sehr viel und beißt gern auf allem möglichem herum.

Seid Kurzem gehen wir wöchentlich zum Babysport, danach schläft er jedesmal völlig erschöpft ein :D Dort wird den Babies spielerisch gezeigt wie sie sich auf die Seite drehen können, der Sitz wird geübt und im Allgemeinen das Gleichgewicht. Aber es ist sicher auch einfach mal schön für Theo nicht immer nur seine Mama zu sehen, sondern auch mal andere Babies ;)

Kurz nachdem er sich vergangenen Monat gedreht hat, hat er auch sofort damit begonnen sich mit seinen Beinen nach vorn zu schieben. Er vergisst dabei immer seine Arme, sodass er sich schon richtig wund geschrubbelt hat um den Mund. Aber das haben wir schon wieder mit etwas Sheabutter in den Griff bekommen.

Wenn er munter ist, ist er sehr lebhaft und aufnahmefähig. Er lacht viel und wirkt im Großen und Ganzen immer sehr zufrieden. Es macht einfach richtig Spaß ihm beim Wachsen und Entdecken zuzusehen.

Our little chubby one just keeps on growing :) In comparison to last month he gained one kilo. Right in this moment he’s taking his mid morning nap, which he takes every morning. Since this month he’s really interested in his toys. He’s got this little ball, which he can grab and of course his giraffe Gilbert (better known as Sophie la giraffe). Gilbert is perfect at the moment, because we think he’s teething. He drools a lot and bites on everything he gets his hands on.

Lately we go to this little baby “workout” group, after which he falls asleep instantly :D There they show the babies in a playful way how to roll over, sit up and over all how to keep their balance. But it’s probably also good for Theo to meet someone else other than his mama ;)

Shortly after he learned how to roll over last month, he started pushing himself forward with his legs. He always forgets to also use his arms, so that he already got a rash around his mouth. But we quickly got that under control with a little shea butter.

When he’s awake, he’s very vivid and absorbs everything. He laughs a lot and over all seems pretty content. It’s just such a pleasure to watch him grow and discover.
