Nach dem Shirt und dem Kleid der letzten beiden Wochen, noch ein T-Shirt diy. Das ist auch an besagtem kreativen Sonntag entstanden. Oder zumindest die Hälfte davon.

Denn nachdem es meinem Freund gehört hat, habe ich es als Probestück verwendet für meine Be kind T-Shirts. Seit dem lag es in der Ecke. Jetzt habe ich einfach die Ärmel abgeschnitten et voilà.

Vor wenigen Tagen habe ich mit Lauren von @veganyogiunicorn auf Instagram gesprochen, da kam sie auf den Hashtag #kindladiesunite. Ich find ihn super um noch mehr Mädels zu verbinden, die einfach nur so freundlich sind oder freundlicher sein wollen. Einfach mal nur nett sein ist doch viel schöner und glaubt mir man fühlt sich besser. Wenn ihr wollt könnt ihr #kindladiesunite in euren nächsten Instagram- bzw. Twitterposts nutzen.

After the shirt and the dress from the last couple of weeks, there is still one shirt I’d like to show you. This has also been made on the said creative Sunday. Or at least half of it.

After it belonged to my boyfried, I used it as a sample for my Be kind T-Shirts. It has been laying around since than. Now I only cut off the sleeves et voilà.

Some days ago I talked with Lauren from @veganyogiunicorn via Instagram. In this conversation she came up with the hashtag #kindladiesunite. I think it’s perfect to connect with girls who just want to be kind or kinder. Being kind is amazing and you definitely feel better. DIY LBD or what to do with your boyfriends old T-Shirt

[LBD – Little Black Dress zu deutsch kleines Schwarzes]

Das Shirt von letzter Woche habe ich eigentlich erst nach dem Kleid von heute gemacht. Das war mal an einem kreativen Sonntag Morgen ;)

Ich habe hier in meinem Arbeitszimmer einen riesigen Stapel an Stoffen. Die sind zum Teil neu und zum Teil sind es eben ausrangierte. Wie ein paar Shirts meines Freundes. Irgendwie sehe ich die Dinge schon genau vor meinem inneren Auge, bevor ich sie zusammen nähe oder auseinander schnipple. Bei diesem schwarzen Shirt habe ich ein Kleid gesehen.

Das mini Schößchen, war tatsächlich mal der untere Rand eines H&M Kleides, das ich als Shirt umfunktioniert habe, weil es einfach viel zu kurz war, mir hatte aber der Stoff gefallen.

Das Kleid ist jetzt perfekt für heiße Sommertage, weil schön luftig.

DIY – Oder was ich gemacht habe: Eigentlich habe ich lediglich Ärmel und Halsausschnitt abgeschnitten. Dabei großzügig den Rücken frei geschnitten. Und den unteren Teil inklusive Falten angenäht. Die abgeschnittenen Partien habe ich absichtlich unberührt gelassen, also nicht umgenäht. Fand ich einfach besser so.

[LBD – Little Black Dress]

I actually made last weeks shirt after this dress. They’ve been made on a creative Sunday morning ;)

I have a huge stack of fabric here in my home office. Some are brand new others aren’t. Like some of my boyfriends old shirts. Somehow I can see exactly what the outcome will before I even cut or sew the things together. As with this black shirt. I just saw it’s going to be a dress.

The mini peplum was actually the very bottom of an H&M dress, which was just way to short. But I liked the fabric so I turned it in to a shirt.

Now the dress is perfect for hot summer days, because it’s so flowy.

DIY – Or what I’ve done: I’ve removed the sleeves and neckline. Generously cut out the back. Sewed on the bottom as a peplum. I purposfully did not touch the cut out edges again or folded them over, since I liked it better with this unfinished look.

Brush your shoulders off

Ich hatte das Gefühl, diese schulterfreien Tops ziemlich häufig gesehen zu haben in letzter Zeit. Wie zum Beispiel bei Liz von Late Afternoon, bei Geneva von A Pair & A Spare (mein Favorit), eine interessante Variante bei Emily von Cupcakes & Cashemere und noch viele mehr. Am Anfang dachte ich noch…meh…bißchen altmodisch. Aber wie das halt so ist, irgendwann gefällt es einem dann doch. Ein altes T-Shirt meines Freundes musste dann daran glauben:

Einfach oben ziemlich großzügig von Schulter zu Schulter den Halsausschnitt abschneiden
Die Abgeschnittene Kante umnähen
Gummi durchziehen
fertig

Ist doch gar nicht mal so schlecht geworden und da es super luftig ist, auch noch perfekt für warme Sommertage.

Lately I had the feeling off the shoulder tops were everywhere. I saw ’em on Liz from Late Afternoon, on Geneva from A Pair & A Spare (my fav), a very interesting one on Emily from Cupcakes & Cashemere and many more. At first I thought… meh… that’s an old one. But as always, at one point I thought why not? One of my boyfriends old shirts had to turn into a off the shoulder top of my very own:

Just cut of the neck part from shoulder to shoulder very generously
Fold back the cut off edge and sew around
Through that fold back, loop a rubber band
And your done

I think it turned out pretty good and because of the flowy size it’s perfect for these hot summer days.
