Raw Vegan Brownies

Genau!  Simple, dass perfekte Rezept für mich.

Finding a raw recipe, which actually tastes good and is so easy to accomplish, I never thought that would be so easy. When I first saw a picture of raw brownies I knew I had to try these. It took me by surprise. They really taste like cold brownies, I already had to make them several times. And anyway…who doesn’t like a recipe with only 4 ingredients and 3 steps to get there. Right! Simple, that’s just the perfect recipe for me.
Recipe (yields 6 cupcakes or a small brownie tin)
What you’ll need

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 10-20 dates (depending on how sweet you want it, of course I used 20, dah!)
  • 2 Tbsp cacao
What you wanna do
1. Place all ingredients in a food blender and blend away until a fine crumbly texture occurs
2. With your fingers, press the mixture firmly into the muffin form or brownie tin
3. Stick in fridge to assure it gets nice and firm
Once you take it out of the fridge, you’ll be able to cut the muffins/brownie without them falling apart.

Thanks so much for reading!

Gooey Date Bites

Deswegen gab’s kleine Dattel Küchlein…Rezept folgt.

And again another cereal bar with dates. I can’t change it, those little ones are just way too good. I could bake something with them every single day. And by the way nowadays I’m not baking with sugar anymore. So there you have it. I love little pies and sweet baked goods but please leave out that white sugar.
Oh and talking of dates…I was graving something sweet on the weekend. Preferably sweet, gooey and freshly baked. So I made little date tartletts…recipe will follow.

Recipes (yields approx. 8 date bars or 24 date bites)

What you need?

  • 4 cups Dates
  • 1 cup Milk (I used rice-soy milk but feel free to use whichever you prefer)
  • 2 Tbsp Flax seeds
  • 1 cup Walnuts
  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 1/4 cup  Coconut oil

What you wanna do

  • Blend in a blender the dates, milk, flax seeds, oats and coconut oil

  • Pack the mix into a baking tin or brownie tin, preferably push in with clean hands
  • Place in oven for 20-30 minutes on 150°C/300° F
  • Let cool before cutting in pices

image009-1 image001 image002 image003-1 image004 image005-1 image006 image007 image008-1 image010-1

Perfekt eben ;-)

At work I could eat the whole day. Why? I don’t know :-)! We get fruites for free – that’s awesome – but sometimes I like some dark chocolate as well. For a change I made myself some date protein bars on Monday. Super gooey and super sweet. Perfect ;-)

The recipe (yields 6 large bars)

What you’ll need
– 250 g dates
– 1 Cup Water
– 1 Cup Chia Seeds
– 1 Cup Almond Meal

What you wanna do
– Put the dates and the water in a blender and blend away until a thick pastes forms.
– Mix the date paste with the chia seeds and the almond meal.
– Press mixture into a rectangle tin or dish.
– Put it in the fridge for a couple of hourse to thicken.
– Cut in bars.
